At 2050 Home Care, we strive to provide the highest quality of healthcare services and medical equipment for home use. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which customers may request cancellations, returns, or refunds for our services and products.

By availing of our services or purchasing/renting medical equipment, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

1Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Home healthcare services such as nursing, physiotherapy, or critical care.
  • ICU at Home and post-hospitalization services.
  • Sale and rental of medical equipment for home use, including ICU equipment at home, ventilators, beds, and other medical devices.

2Service Cancellation

  • Customers may request service cancellation by contacting our support team via phone or email at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service start time.
  • Cancellations made after service commencement are not eligible for refunds, except under special circumstances approved by management.
  • If a healthcare professional (doctor, nurse, or therapist) fails to arrive due to unforeseen reasons, customers will be eligible for either a rescheduled appointment or a full refund for the missed session.

3Equipment Return Policy

a. For Rental Equipment

  • Rented medical equipment at home must be returned in good working condition at the end of the rental period.
  • Any damage, misuse, or missing accessories will result in repair or replacement charges deducted from the security deposit.
  • Early returns are permitted; however, rental fees for the current billing cycle will not be refunded.
  • Equipment pickup will be scheduled within 24–48 hours of your return request.

b. For Purchased Equipment

  • Buy medical equipment for home items are eligible for return only in case of:
    • Manufacturing defects, or
    • Delivery of the wrong product.
  • Requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery with proof of purchase and relevant photographs.
  • The product must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by all manuals and accessories.

4Refund Eligibility

Refunds are processed under the following conditions:

  • Service cancellations made within the permitted time frame (as stated above).
  • Equipment returned due to manufacturing defects or incorrect delivery.
  • Duplicate payments or overcharged transactions identified by our billing team.

Refunds will not be applicable for:

  • Change of mind after equipment purchase or setup completion.
  • Service dissatisfaction arising from personal preference unrelated to professional performance.
  • Consumables (like masks, tubing, syringes, etc.) once opened or used.

5Refund Process and Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Delays, if any, may depend on your bank or payment gateway.
  • Customers will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

6Non-Refundable Items

The following items and charges are non-refundable:

  • Delivery, installation, or pickup fees.
  • One-time setup charges for ICU at Home services.
  • Used or soiled medical consumables.
  • Custom-made or special-order home medical devices.

7Damaged or Defective Equipment

If you receive a defective or damaged product:

  • Notify our support team within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Provide order details and clear images of the issue.
  • Upon verification, we will either replace the product or issue a full refund.

Our team reserves the right to inspect and confirm the nature of the defect before approving replacements or refunds.
